Indications

PROTAHERE is for the prevention and reduction of the adhesions from abdominal, pelvic laparoscopic and surgery.

PROTAHERE Absorbable Adhesion Barrier is a colorless, transparent, viscous, sterile and nonpyrogenic gel supplied in a plastic syringe.

PROTAHERE active ingredient is Hyaluronic Acid (HA), which is a glycosaminoglycan and present in connective, epithelial and neural tissues.

PROTAHERE is single use only, it should be opened under the aseptic area of the medical facility approved by the authority and administered by a qualified professional physician.

The product should not be administered to patients who have hypersensitivity or allergy to hyaluronic acid.

PROTAHERE has been studied by a prospective, randomized clinical trial with 78 patients in a follow up of 24 months of postoperative adhesion.
